Working on the North Shore always brings a mix of great views and challenging terrain. This Mairangi Bay apartment build was no different — a steep driveway, limited roadside space, and a multi-level structure that needed full, safe access from day one.
Understanding the Site
The builders needed reliable scaffolding to saccess framing, cladding, and all exterior work. With the site sitting high above the road, we knew stability, planning, and tidy setup were going to be key.
Our Approach
We designed a scaffold system that worked with the sloping ground, not against it.
Our team installed:
- Full external scaffolding, including cantilevered sections to allow large truck to pass under the a large scaffolding.
- Safe walkways and platforms
- Strong bracing for multi-level height
- A staged build that grew with the project
The steep driveway meant careful unloading and coordination, but with clear communication, everything went up smoothly.
